This policy applies to our website generally, for both our coaching and therapy services. It does not replace the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices provided separately to clinical therapy clients, which governs your protected health information under our therapy practice.

Maitri Embody Lab is the website and trade name under which Rebecca Winter, LPC, LPCC, Coach, PLLC operates, offering:

• Coaching services, available worldwide

• Licensed professional clinical counseling and licensed professional counseling services, available to residents of [Kentucky, Colorado, and Oregon], provided in affiliation with Mindful Therapy Group, Collective Counseling Solutions, and ALMA

• Pages visited, time on site, and referral source, via cookies or similar tracking technologies

Information from third parties:

• Scheduling, telehealth, and billing platforms we use to operate the practice may share limited account or appointment information with us

• Payment processors handle payment details directly; we do not store full payment card information

• Respond to inquiries and schedule sessions

• Operate and improve the website

• Send communications you've opted into (e.g., newsletters or content updates), which you may unsubscribe from at any time

• Meet legal, licensing, and record keeping obligations tied to our therapy practice

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party tools to help operate our practice and website, which may include:

• Practice management / telehealth platforms: AdvancedMD, Zanda, and Rula (upon credentialing, including their built-in video platform)

• Documentation / AI note-taking assistance tools: Berry AI, and Rula's built-in AI note-taking feature

• Website hosting and analytics: Wix (which may incorporate third-party analytics tools as part of its platform)

We may also use AI-powered tools to assist with drafting content, communications, or administrative materials. We do not input client health information or identifying details into AI tools for this purpose.

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing information they process on our behalf.

6. International Visitors

Maitri Embody Lab works with clients and visitors around the world, including from New Zealand, India, and elsewhere. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information you submit will generally be processed and stored in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. By using this site or submitting information, you consent to this transfer and processing, to the extent permitted by your local law.

If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020), you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information — see Section 8 below.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law, professional licensing boards, or record keeping obligations related to clinical practice.
