Reconnect, Grow, and Strengthen Your Bond

Your Journey Together Starts Here

Our intake process is simple, compassionate, and designed to ensure we’re the right fit for your unique relationship goals. Whether you choose counseling or coaching, we create a strong foundation for lasting connection and growth.

Step 1:  Connect with Your Guide:

Complimentary (30-Minute) Consultation

Starting a journey of growth, whether through counseling or coaching, is a big decision. We believe you should feel confident and comfortable with the person guiding you. This complimentary 30-minute consultation is your opportunity to connect with Rebecca Winter, LPC, LPCC, Coach, in a brief, relaxed setting. This session is designed to answer your key question: Are we a good match?
Therapy session

This complimentary conversation is your chance to ask questions and get a sense of my approach and style. It helps us confirm whether we're a good match and determine the best service (counseling or coaching) for your goals and location.

Step 2: The Intake Session (60-75 Minutes)

If we agree to move forward, we'll schedule our first comprehensive session. This time is dedicated to a deeper dive into your goals, current challenges, and relevant history. This is key to understanding your unique path forward.

You decide how much you want to share and when. There is no pressure to disclose anything before you feel ready. The session follows your comfort level, your boundaries, and your capacity in the moment. You set the rhythm, and the work grows from a place of safety and choice.

Step 3: Planning & Inner Strengths (Sessions 2 & 3)

Your second and third sessions focus on collaborative treatment/action planning. We will begin incorporating evidence-based and strengths-based approaches. This phase includes a gentle art therapy exercise specifically designed to help you connect with your innate resilience and inner strengths.

There is no pressure to be “creative” or produce anything polished. The exercise supports insight, not performance. Your comfort, pace, and interpretation guide the process.

Step 4: Ongoing Sessions

From here, we'll schedule ongoing sessions tailored specifically to your goals and pace. These sessions will support your progress, and optional "homework" or practices may be offered to help integrate your insights and healing between our meetings.
Child Hugging Dog

You choose the rhythm of this stage. There is no expectation to move faster than your capacity. Your goals guide each session, and the work stays flexible enough to meet you where you are.
